Aims and Scope
Revista Romana de Bioetica (RRB) is an international quarterly peer-reviewed academic journal that reflects the whole domain of bioethics. RRB aims to serve as a nonpartisan and cross-cultural forum devoted to exploring current ethical issues in developing countries, by forging bridges between the bioethics discourse, research and public health ethics analysis in developed and developing countries. Therefore, RRB targets a broad audience that includes: government and health care leaders; health care advocates; scholars of bioethics; and others concerned with health and health care issues in the developing world. To ensure international relevance REVISTA ROMANA DE BIOETICA has Editorial Board members from all around the world. RRB is indexed by Thomson Reuters since 2007 and the Impact Factor is presently 1.17.

Original Articles
This is the main category for original research papers on all topics including both philosophical papers and empirical studies that contribute to the development of the domain of bioethics. The main criteria for acceptance are originality, rigor and accessibility and interest to a wide audience.
Word count: up to 7000 words.
Abstract: up to 250 words.
Tables/Illustrations: up to 5, any more at editorial discretion.

Review Article
Analytical Review Articles are in-depth reviews of the empirical research or philosophical arguments that contribute to create a perspective of the actual status of the development of a facet of bioethics including an analytical discussion of contemporary issues and controversies in health care ethics, research ethics and health policy ethics. We accept reviews of maximum 6000 words not including references and tables.
